St. Louis Rubber Duck Derby Benefits Boys and Girls Club
Annual Rubber Duck Race Takes Place in front of the St. Louis Arch
Saturday July 28th is the annual Rubber Duck Derby on the Mississippi River in front of the Arch. The event benefits the Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club of St. Louis, Missouri.

This is how it works: Rubber ducks are available for adoption, $5 for one, $20 for five. On Saturday, 15,000 rubber ducks will be placed into the Mississippi River in front of the St. Louis Arch where they will race downstream toward a Plexiglas tunnel. The adoptive parents of the winning ducks will win one of many prizes. You do not have to be present to win. The best part is this: US Bank (as well as others) sponsored the event so that 100%, yes 100%, goes directly to the Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club of St. Louis.
Here is a photo of our souvenir duck that we got for our adoption. Joe chose him because the duck has an inner tube, and Joe thought it was ironic since ducks float.

Thank You Stacey & Jeff! Event Photography - Webster Groves Wedding Party
Last night we photographed the wedding party of newly married Stacey and Jeff. It was an amazing setting with a historic home in a beautiful part of St. Louis; Webster Groves. We'll post a few more samples later but wanted to leave this teaser photo.
